Qigong Video – Shun Shen Tao Qigong
Posture 1 of 16. First Heart Meridian Posture
This video demonstrates the heart posture for balancing the heart and the heart meridian.
Grandmaster David Harris shares the video The 24 Postures of Shun Shen Tao in it’s entirety in an effort to help any one who needs it.
This particular Shun Shen Tao qigong form is a very effective tool for promoting heart health.

This particular qigong exercise and practice activates and stimulates energy flow along the meridian acupuncture points as depicted in the following diagram.
The practice of activating these acupuncture points on a regular basis is very good for physical and energetic heart balance. While simple, this form is an excellent addition to the overall health regimen.
This is an amazing gift and very few people are aware of this practice.
The key to this is the following:
Don’t take my word for it. Try it out and see for yourself. See how you benefit personally. The practice itself will make a believer out of you.
Additional Suggestion: Talk to Your Heart
Here is another suggestion to couple with the regular practice of this posture:
Talk to your heart as if it is your valuable and trusted friend and life assistant on a regular basis.
You speak to your pets and children expressing appreciation and recognition, why not your body and your heart?
This suggestion comes out of a story from a mentor of ours who was talking to a heart surgeon. This is what he told us:
“After speaking about the process of Heart Forgiveness (a four part workshop related to releasing anger), the surgeon said to me:
“If people would only talk to their hearts 3 minutes a day, it would never attack them.” “
This seems like such simple and good advice from a man with a long career operating on people’s hearts. From my perspective, it makes sense, to take time to make friends with our bodies and organs and express our gratitude for our health.
Whether you choose to talk to your heart or not, use this posture and qigong form to practice heart health and see if it makes a difference for you.

@kosombi Yes. That is the base of the style. However, the techniques are good for building both Yin and Yang types of Qi. Also, be very careful when studying a style which uses harsh breathing techniques. They can be very dangerous.

@samlhealer It all depends on you. Check how you are feeling. If you start to get over charged, get some water and take a break. I find that most people take awhile to build up to that. So it’s OK, just proceed safely.

gosh..I am glad that a kind person sent me the link to this form of qigong. I am familiar with qigong on a basic level and understand energy..I have no problem with energy talk. I wonder does this method help to clear congested and blocked chakras? I have been told my ajna chakra and solar plexus are congested and my sex chakra is low in energy… good energy is more important than having loads of money.. peaceful mind and a healthy body and happy heart is important- and sharing.

Don’t look some …
Don’t look some much at protection. Protection is not really where it’s at. Use the Nei Gong Hwa Jing or Dowsing and clear him of any negative energy. Then you won’t have to worry about it anymore. Also, the more spiritual clearings you do the stronger you immunity will get to the negative energy. If you heal people of their problems there will be a lot less problems in the world.

Is there a way to stop meridians from getting contaminated? There is a person I must see very frequently who continuously infests my kidney meridian on the leg, while stealing my bladder energy, and also dirties my lung and large intestines. I need to shield against this. What is the best way to shield? Extraordinary meridians I imagine would be helpful, but I was wondering if you have any sort of exercises or even spiritual things I can do to protect myself. Namaste, God bless

Many people tried to devise systems for purging specific meridians with qigong emissions. This is by far the best out of all I’ve tried. It is very time consuming, but at the same time if someone where in a good environment, I bet they could do the entire exercise three times and clean many years or even a lifetime of bad energies!
Anyway, I find myself using heart, pericardium, stomach, lung, large intestines, small intestines many times. Because people often times have toxic fields.

There are many different way of practicing Qi gong as far as breathing and focusing of attention goes. For these exercises and most of the ones in the Shun Tao system, a state of “sung” or “No mind” is used. Although there are other methods of focus and breathing, REAL Qi gong is always relaxed.
